The Bachelorette, Season 10: Finale

I'm sad to say that this is our final points update for this season of the Bachelorette. It was a relatively unexciting season, and I really hope that the next bachelor steps up his dates game. Can we please get some more helicopter rides and hot tub action? Here's how our boys did this week:

Josh: 165 points

Nick: 125 points

• Coming back to the show to beg for another chance (50 points)

We had an 11-way tie for first place for this episode because 11 of us drafted Josh M. on our team. Ashlee was our BIG winner this season with 2,270 points, which just goes to show that you don't have to draft "the chosen one" on your team to swoop up on some points. Selena came in second with 2,120 points, and Ellen came in third with 1,960 points. No one was awarded points for drafting the next bachelor on their team because ABC hasn't announced it yet. I looked at the points, and gaining or missing out on those points wouldn't affect the scoreboard, so I'm crowning the winners of this season before the announcement.

The pot came out to $268.04 after all of the PayPal fees. The payouts are approximately 50% for first place, 35% for second place, and 15% for third place. I rounded up the change for second and third place, and all the rest will go to our big winner. So...Ellen is getting $40, Selena is getting $94, and Ashlee is getting 134.04. Not too shabby, huh?!

Poor Farmer Chris...I was sad to see him go. He's been one of my favorites since day 1 when I read the bios. He wasn't a good fir for Andi, but I think he'd be just perfect for my BFF Selena. Planes fly to Iowa so that I could go visit, right?!

Ashlee's team brought in the most points this week at 280, and there was a three-way tie for second for Selena, Ellen and Kristen's teams, all racking up 250 points each. Ashlee sure lucked out with Nick this season!

For our season overall, Ashlee is in the lead with 2145 points, Selena is in second place with 1955 points, and Ellen is in third place with 1,795 points.

The Bachelorette, Season 10, Episode 8: Hometowns

Didn't last night's ending just break your heart?! I can completely sympathize with Andi's guilt as she recalled her last conversation with Eric. I loved how Marcus shared his appreciation for his older brother with his brother also. Sometimes, we forget to tell those closest to us how much they mean to us, and we never know when someone will leave our lives. I was happy to see that Andi and the remaining 4 bachelors all met together at Chris Harrison's house to receive the news. There's no good way to segment here, so...

For the season overall, Ashlee is STILL in the lead with 1865 points, Selena is trailing just behind her at 1705 points, and there's a two-way tie for third place between Ellen and Jessica, both with 1545 points.

Okay, fantasy suites, let’s see what you've got! Our only hope of taking over the lead next week is having Nick refuse the fantasy suite.

The Bachelorette, Season 10, Episode 7: Pickle Juice

Is that a pickle in your pants, or are you just glad to see me?! I can't believe we're almost at hometown dates! This has been a pretty boring season so far. Andi just wants to EXPLOOOOOOOOORE, so we are really missing out on some hot tub and helicopter points. Nick is the only real drama that's left, but since the guys won't be spending any more time together, I think we've seen the last of it. I hope you all watched last night's episode until the very end. That scene with Brian and pickles was so darn funny! Here's how the gentlemen did last night:

The Bachelorette, Season 10, Episode 6: Nick and Cody

Is anyone else becoming slightly bored with this season? I get so angry when there are big conspiracies, but this season has a serious lack of drama. Andi isn't planning amazingly-lavish dates, no one has admitted to having a secret girlfriend at home, and a bachelor has yet to return to the show to ask for Andi's reconsideration. 

I'm totally over Nick. I think he's a prick, and I hate watching Andi interpret his actions as acting "like a man". 

Cody has been a SERIOUS letdown on my team. He tried to squeeze 6 weeks worth of compliments and sweet nothings into one date, and it made me cringe to even watch. I was happy to see Andi stop him in his 495th attempt to convince Andi how much she was going to love him. 

JJ took a turn down Bitter Boulevard, Josh needs to get it together, and Dylan should have NEVER admitted that he doesn't wash his hands after he uses the bathroom. Did you all get a good laugh out of the last few minutes? Now THAT'S a language barrier.

We FINALLY got some drama last night, but it's still not enough. I'm disappointed that my team isn't bringing in more points. Marquel totally cried, but we didn't see "moisture fall", so I lost points on that one. Cody is waaaaay more soft than I thought he was. Those muscles are obviously just for show. That singing was pretty terrible, wouldn't you agree? The bachelors that brought in the most points this week were Nick V. (80 points) and JJ (65 points). Brittney S. and Ashlee H.'s teams tied for the most points earned for this episode at 240 points each, and Jessica T.'s team came in second at 225 points. For the whole season, we've got a pretty close race going on. Ashlee H. has a season total of 580 points, Jessica T.'s team has 560 points, and Brittney S.'s team has 540 points. With only 20 points separating each team, it's a close race.

The Bachelorette, Season 10: Long Hair, Don't Care

Wow! Did you all enjoy last night? Andi made it painstakingly obvious that she's not into long hair. Dylan flew under the radar with his locks of love, but Andi was quick to get rid of Steven, Mike, and Jason.

I was actually sad to see Steven go home because I though he had a lot of potential as Andi's "great love". Mike was a tool, and Jason was just awkward. He's a doctor, but he said that he didn't have a lot to go home to as he drudged down the driveway. Really? You have a pretty fantastic job, and it sounds like you have a wonderful family that you could not forsake at home. Maybe a spontaneous trip to Alaska and a little Top Gun will make him feel better.

With that opening line, I'm sad that we don't get to see more of Emil (it's pronounced anal with an 'm'). I'm sure he would have been good for some serious points. 

Can we please discuss Josh B. for a minute? 

For reals, this guy needs some help. I tried to find a video of his exit interview, but no one has posted that one yet. This guy sounds like he has a miserable life. He's embarrassed to be on the show, he has nothing positive to say, and, well...who wants to share all of those emotions with someone like that?! His life pretty much sucks. Maybe a good James Bond movie will cheer him up.

I'm impressed with my team of bachelors so far. Andi mentioned that Man's Man Josh M. was totally her type, Farmer Chris is everything a sweet and adorable farm boy should be, Milk and Cookies Marquel planned an amazing cookie-tasting party (complete with milk and all), Crossfire Carl sort of flew under the radar, and it looks like Cocky Cody will rack up as many points as I anticipated.
